About the Department

Medical Services

The University Medical Services department caters for the health needs of students, staff, their dependants, and the community in general through timely, quality, efficient, round-the-clock service delivery.

Mandate

Provide general outpatient preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services; laboratory and medical diagnostic screening and testing; prevention and management of alcohol and drug abuse; referrals for specialized care and management; comprehensive HIV and AIDS prevention and support; and public health and sanitation.
