Dean's Message
Science asks students to be patient with evidence and bold in seeking explanations. In our laboratories, field activities, and quantitative courses, we train learners to observe carefully, test ideas, and communicate results clearly. The school supports scientific talent that can serve research, teaching, industry, and public problem-solving.

About the School
School of Pure and Applied Sciences
School created in 2013 to respond to labour market demand for scientists and offering biological sciences, mathematics, chemistry, and physics disciplines. Handbook context: Established in 2013 from the then School of Education due to the growing need for science based courses.

Mandate
To develop scientists through training, laboratory practice, quantitative inquiry, and research across the pure and applied sciences. Handbook research context: advanced and applied scientific research across mathematics, biology, public-health, energy, survival analysis, economics, and related applied fields.
