Dr. Andima is a senior Lecturer in the department of Curriculum, Instruction and Media Studies of Kisii University, Kenya. He is currently the Co-Research Chair in Language Education under the HERI-Africa programme. He is a supervisor and mentor in the education student- teacher programme. Andima has worked extensively in early grade literacy interventions among the most disadvantaged communities in Kenya. His expertise in the aforementioned included; design of training manuals, training, oversight and mentorship on the use of child friendly instructional strategies for literacy development. Andima has a Post-Doc Fellowship from Aga Khan University, a PhD in language education from Kenyatta University, a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an undergraduate degree in Education Arts from Egerton University.
